Profile
Construction from every angle.
I know construction from almost every role: as a metal worker in the workshop and on site, in work preparation and project management for a window manufacturer, as site manager at a site management firm and in construction management, on the client side and on deployment abroad with SWISSCOY. Today I am a senior owner’s representative in real estate development in Zurich, responsible for construction. On top of that come my training as Dipl. Techniker HF Bauplanung, the CAS in owner’s representation at HWZ and leadership experience as an officer in the Swiss Armed Forces.

How I work
What I pay attention to.
-
01
Cost
I check additional costs, day work and change orders on their technical merits before they are approved. I make deviations visible early.
-
02
Schedule
Realistic programmes, clear responsibilities and consistent follow-up. I raise delays as soon as they emerge.
-
03
Quality
I inspect during construction, not only at handover. Defects are recorded, assigned and tracked until they are fixed.
-
04
Safety
I pay attention to safety on site and to clear foundations: documented decisions and traceable agreements.
-
Communication
Direct and clear. I raise problems while they are still small.
-
Responsibility
I don’t just pass things on. I understand the issue, prepare the decision and stand by it.
-
Pragmatism
Solutions have to work technically, economically and on site.
Personal
Beyond the building site.
As an officer in the Swiss Armed Forces I learned to take responsibility and lead clearly. On deployment abroad with SWISSCOY I set up projects, built processes and delivered them with other nations and armed forces. In my free time I am under water, flying a drone or out on my road bike.
What else defines me
-
Diving
Trained up to Divemaster.
-
Photography
Architecture and landscape, often from the air by drone.
-
Travel
New places, cities and their architecture.
-
Sport
Ice hockey and road cycling.
